If you Google “cashmere sweater” there are 41 million results. The cheapest one I could find was $50 and there are 16 color offerings from this one retailer. This is the cheapest cashmere has ever been since cashmere shawls or pashminas rose in popularity amongst wealthy people in 19th-century England. Almost every shopping website I have visited this season has something made with cashmere, even fast fashion retailers like Zara and Mango!
