I cherished this letter on the current landscape of beauty standards and the fruitless pursuit of beauty from Haaniyah Angus, who writes, “In a panoramic?”
I preordered “Black Women Writer’s at Work” in October and was delighted to receive it this month. This book wasn’t a fast read, their words demanded my attention, and I sat with each interview for a day or more before moving on. It is essential reading for Black women writers and everyone. I will be rereading it.
