Paige: Who am I? I do a couple of things. I am a freelance make-up artist. I develop products for a skincare line and make some ceramics for myself.
Subrina: You’re multifaceted.
Paige: Yes, she’s a triple threat. *laughs*
Subrina: How would you describe your style?
Paige: Answering this question has become more complex with COVID-19 because my style has evolved slightly. Right now, I would describe my style as more classic, specifically American classic, because I love a loafer, a button-down, and a pair of slacks, but I like adding something spicy. Under my button-down, I usually wear a bikini top and anything that takes it to a less boring place. And I only say boring because I feel like dressing fat bodies specifically in a minimal, streamlined, stylish way isn’t necessarily something that’s seen often. I end up having this crisis like, “Oh, do I just look normal and maybe even frumpy?” because an oversized button-down isn’t flattering. I always feel like I have to add elements to add context to my outfits to communicate that I am stylish, like a cute little bag, look shoes, or accessories. Accessorizing is very important for me because it's the only thing that’s equally accessible, and I invest in it a lot.
