Style Diaries: Isabella Doelwijt
I don’t remember how I found Isabella’s IG account but we’ve been admiring each other since 2016. Isabella lives in Holland and is a professor. She recently turned 33 and recreated all the outfits she wore on her late summer holiday. It is still hot everywhere (that is currently experiencing summer) — although the nights and early mornings have a slight chill— and so I wanted to share some outfits for the last days of summer. Enjoy!
The outfits
Being a teacher at a fashion institution (mostly in conceptual design), I have a lot of freedom with the way I dress. So most of my looks I wear to work or my studies (I’m also pursuing a masters in museum & heritage studies at the moment). I have worked a lot from home during covid, which wasn’t necessarily a big problem for me — I think the students suffered the most from it — but while working at home I often wore an oversized shirt and some comfy trousers underneath; very easy! Besides my job as a teacher I work on my brand MAIOHWN. (I can’t wait to share more about the product I am making soon! I have been posting very sparsely about it on Instagram. It’s a very personal and slow process for which I am so grateful.)
