After editing and rebuilding my wardrobe from almost scratch last Spring, I felt content with everything I had included and clarity about the items I was still looking for. My sudden move has affected my clothing needs since I went from living in a city to a rural community in Northern California. I have worn some of my dressier garments here, but I balance out with more casual shoes — which I have very little of. I’m gravitating towards jackets over long coats because (1) all my coats are very special, and I worry about staining them, and (2) coats add a dramatic element to already dressier clothes.
Mekdela and I have been sharing our clothes. Her jacket collection inspired me, and I have been hunting for more jackets to add to our shared collection. I am also hunting down more barrel-leg jeans like the ones below, boots, and casual shoes. In the meantime, I have created and recreated some outfits for you. Some of them have been previously worn, and the rest are outfits I would wear somewhere else.
